ABOUT QUARTZ STONE:

quartz stone slabs are made from natural quartz that has been

researched and produced to meet the specific demands of the kitchen and bathroom.

This material is more resistant to surface damage than other materials but like most

things, better care will make for a longer life.

ABOUT CLEANING:

Our recommendation is for cleaning your quartz stone with warm soapy, water (a mild detergent) and a damp cloth. The special satin finish of the quartz stone will improve with the use of mild detergents, but all liquid detergents will also prove satisfactory. Please be careful with drain cleaners. Make sure that the cleaning agent goes down the waste outlet and that it does not sit in the quartz stone. Some drain cleaners react relatively violently as one would expect by the very nature of the requirement of the product and instructions for handling are always given precisely on the product. You may clean your quartz stone periodically with a diluted bleach solution.

ABOUT CARE:

This material is resistant to heat and will tolerate brief exposures to moderately hot

This material is resistant to heat and will tolerate brief exposures to moderately hot
temperatures, however prolonged direct contact with, or radiated heat from very hot
pots can cause thermal shock, discolouration or damage. Therefore we do not
recommend placing hot pots, pans, electric frying pans, oven trays, etc. directly from
the hotplate or out of the oven onto the surface of quartz stone. We always
recommend the use of a hot pad or trivet to place hot items on or to always let hot
items cool before placing them in your quartz stone.

Quartz stone can be permanently damaged by exposure to strong chemicals and
solvents that undermine its physical properties. Do not use products that contain
trichlorethane or methylene chloride, such as paint removers or stripper. Avoid any
highly aggressive cleaning agents like oven cleaner that have high alkaline/pH levels.
Should the surface be accidentally exposed to any of these damaging products, rinse
immediately with water to neutralize the effect.
